Bee Ounsworth is a London-born UK country singer-songwriter whose journey into music proves that impact isn’t defined by timing. After the birth of her third child in 2017, she began taking singing lessons simply to try something new. Within weeks, she was invited to join a band — an early sign that her voice and stage presence were meant to be shared.

Immersing herself in the live music scene, Bee quickly gained confidence performing at open mic nights and venues across multiple genres. While she developed her craft through various musical projects, it was country music that truly resonated. In July 2023, Bee founded BUCKLE N BOOTS, her country music project. Her debut single Love in the Dark was released in July 2024, marking the start of a growing catalogue of original music and a new chapter for Bee as an independent UK country artist.

By 2025, BUCKLE N BOOTS had evolved into a dynamic live setup, with Bee at its core as vocalist and primary songwriter. The release of So See Me signalled another step forward — defined by stronger songwriting, polished production and an increasingly clear artistic direction.

In 2026, Bee’s growing presence within the UK country scene was recognised when she was nominated and named a finalist for both UK Country Artist of the Year and UK Country Female Artist of the Year — a significant milestone in a musical journey that had begun less than a decade earlier with a single singing lesson.

Now based in Surrey, Bee balances life as a mum of three and a full-time career alongside an unwavering commitment to her music. Writing, recording, rehearsing, performing and building BUCKLE N BOOTS around an already busy life takes determination, but it is a challenge she embraces wholeheartedly.

Behind the confident performer is someone who has also experienced struggles with anxiety, particularly in busy public environments. Yet the stage is different. When Bee steps behind the microphone, the anxiety seems to disappear — the music takes over and she feels completely at home.
