Bee Ounsworth is the singer-songwriter and creative force behind BUCKLE N BOOTS. A mum of three and teaching assistant at a specialist school in Surrey, she balances family life and a full-time career with writing, recording and performing.
Drawing deeply from her own experiences and emotions, Bee creates honest, sometimes hard-hitting lyrics delivered with powerful, soulful vocals. Although she can struggle with busy public environments, something changes when she steps on stage — all her anxieties disappear, the music takes over and she feels completely at home.
Bee is also a presenter on Surrey’s Ridge Radio, sharing her love of country music on her weekly Tuesday show.

Notable Performances
BUCKLE N BOOTS enjoyed a standout 2025, performing at American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch alongside BRELAND, Remember Monday and Kezia Gill, as well as appearing at The British Country Music Festival, Country on the Coast, Margate Country Music Festival and Rockin’ The Country.
Other highlights include Oxted Beer Festival 2024, on a line-up featuring Ella Henderson and Example, alongside performances at established UK country venues and events including Lil Nashville, Buck N Bull London and Honky Tonk Collective.
In 2025, BUCKLE N BOOTS received two Red Carpet Awards — Best Country Voice and Best Country Song for “Love in the Dark.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Bee Ounsworth is a finalist at the UK Country Music Awards, nominated for both UK Country Artist of the Year and UK Female Country Artist of the Year. The winners will be announced in September 2026.

Bee Ounsworth is a London-born, Surrey-based country singer-songwriter and the creative force behind BUCKLE N BOOTS. Since beginning her music journey in 2017, Bee has developed into a captivating live performer, known for her powerhouse vocals, infectious energy and natural connection with an audience.
After spending 15 years as a veterinary nurse, Bee now works as a teaching assistant in a specialist school in Surrey, while balancing family life with writing, recording and performing her original music.
Drawing deeply from her own experiences and emotions, Bee isn’t afraid to explore the harder-hitting side of life through her lyrics. Inspired by the storytelling heart of country but proudly bringing her own British perspective, she is the voice, songwriter and driving force behind BUCKLE N BOOTS.
Long Bio
Bee Ounsworth is a London-born UK country singer-songwriter whose journey into music proves that impact isn’t defined by timing. After the birth of her third child in 2017, she began taking singing lessons simply to try something new. Within weeks, she was invited to join a band — an early sign that her voice and stage presence were meant to be shared.
Immersing herself in the live music scene, Bee quickly gained confidence performing at open mic nights and venues across multiple genres. While she developed her craft through various musical projects, it was country music that truly resonated. Drawn to its storytelling, emotional honesty and connection to real life, she found a genre that perfectly matched both her powerful vocals and lived experience.
In July 2023, Bee founded BUCKLE N BOOTS, her country music project. What began as a cover-based concept soon evolved into an original artist-led project shaped by modern influences and a distinctly British perspective. The debut single Love in the Dark was released in July 2024, marking the start of a growing catalogue of original music and establishing Bee within the expanding UK country music scene.
By 2025, BUCKLE N BOOTS had evolved into a dynamic live setup, with Bee at its core as vocalist and primary songwriter. The release of So See Me signalled a new chapter — defined by stronger songwriting, polished production and a clear artistic direction.
Now based in Surrey, Bee balances family life and a full-time career alongside an unwavering commitment to her music. Her discipline, organisation and relentless work ethic have driven the steady growth of BUCKLE N BOOTS across streaming platforms, social media and live stages, building a loyal and engaged audience.
Known for energetic performances and genuine audience connection, Bee delivers powerful live shows that resonate with both country fans and wider audiences. Blending contemporary country influences with memorable hooks and heartfelt storytelling, BUCKLE N BOOTS offers a fresh UK voice within a genre traditionally rooted across the Atlantic.
